QC Inspector. 1st shift position working 6: 00am - 3: 30pm Monday - Thursday and 6: 00am - 10: 00am on Friday. Must have 2-3 years of prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with precision machining in a Medical and Aerospace environment is preferred. Position will involve inspecting materials and parts to blueprint drawings and specifications for incoming items, work-in-process and final part configurations, examine certifications for type of material and special processing such as heat treatment, plating and surface treatments, inspect materials and parts for surface defects per drawing notes or blueprint requirements, and measures part features accurately using basic hand tools including dial calipers, height gauge, plug gauges and thread gauges. AS9100C and ISO 9001: 2008 experience is helpful. Will also support gauge calibration and perform calibration as needed and may also prepare FAIR and PPAP paperwork. Experience knowledge of GD&T measurements and symbols along with the ability to utilize Microsoft Windows and the ERP system to locate jobs, status operation sequences and log comments. High School diploma or GED is required. Temp to hire position starting out at $13.00/hr - $17.00/hr depending on experience.
