Our client in Berrien County is seeking a Spare Parts Customer Service Representative. Hours are 8: 00am - 4: 30pm Monday - Friday. Position will involve selling parts for products and scheduling service calls. Position duties will include quoting prices and credit terms, preparing sales contracts for orders, conducting research and sharing information with service, manufacturing, and purchasing to provide viable solutions to customer needs, estimating date of delivery to customers based on production and delivery schedules, investigating and resolving customer delivery issues, entering customer and sales data for customers into the computer database, tracking and processing back orders and notifying appropriate people as to availability, responding to internal request for information from other departments, addresses complaints concerning billing or service rendered, and referring complaints for service to designated departments for investigation. Must have strong communication skills, as well as computer skills in MS Office. Knowledge of BPCS Manufacturing software is preferred. Must have an Associate's degree or 5-10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of heat treat equipment, process gasses, process control instrumentation and PLC usage is desired. Temp to hire position with wages starting out at $14.00/hour - $16.00/hour depending on experience.
