Local manufacturing company is looking for a 1st shift CNC Lead:

*Set-up multi-spindle drill presses must have sound understanding of the tooling being used and able to inspect the set-up to ensure that quality meets NPC standards.
*Make off-set adjustments in the CNC program to adjust for quality.
*Possess current knowledge of and use good judgment in determining visual defects and variation in castings for the acceptance/rejection of production parts to meet NPC and customer specifications.
*Mechanical ability with broad working knowledge of the machining department s equipment, machines, tools, standard operating procedures, files, logs, records and production requirements.
*Accurate and conscientious in completion of paperwork and job duties.
*Follow instructions (verbal and written) to be effective and efficient in the completion of duties.
*Learn and contribute to improving the machining department s systems and procedures, job requirements, function and internal system.
*Work with others as member of the team.
*Flexible in job assignment and duties, must be motivated, possess a can do attitude, initiative and enthusiasm for the job and demonstrate an excellent attendance record.
*Company-oriented with all actions resulting in the safe production of quality parts at or above an established rate.
*Strive for continuous improvement; for the department, the Company, and personally and must ensure that our product meets or exceeds customer quality requirements.
*Maintain communications between shift personnel to facilitate smooth/seamless production in order to meet customer requirements/order.
*Pull, install, and tear down CNC fixtures.
*Pull and set CNC tooling.
*Must continually visually and physically inspect all drill press machines and other equipment for any needed repairs, maintenance, and correct operation of safety equipment and procedures.
*Will set-up/tear down as efficiently and expediently as possible. Re-check each set-up upon completion for safety and proper completion of job. Cycle and run through operation of the equipment to ensure that correct/safe operation is obtained.
*Must have firm understanding of all product in the Machining department.
*Must be able to perform dock audit for incoming product from the Casting department.
*Must be able to fill-in as the floor inspector whenever required.
*Must be able to understand and react to TWI and Quality Alerts.
*Must follow and maintain IATF 16949 Standards.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Must have a GED or HS diploma.

Hours: 6a-2:30pm
Pay: DOE
