Job Title: 1st Shift Industrial Painter Location: Bridgman, MISchedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with overtime as neededHourly Rate: $19.00 per hour Job Summary:Local Bridgman company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual. The Industrial Painter will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by applying finishes to products, and ensuring they meet quality standards.   1. Paint Application:
    • Apply paint using a variety of application methods, including spray guns and brushes.
    • Ensure consistent coating thickness and coverage.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Inspect finished products to verify that they meet quality standards and specifications.
    • Make adjustments to the painting process as needed to achieve the desired results.
  3. Equipment Maintenance:
    • Clean and maintain painting equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  4. Production Support:
    • Operating forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), and hand tools
    • Reading a measuring tape
Qualifications:
  • Recent experience as an Industrial Painter, and able to wear a respirator
  • Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
  • Ability to interpret and follow product specifications and instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
