Job Description

1st shift CNC Machinist VTL Operator
  • Familiar with general VTL operation and mechanical skills
  • Familiar with checking, setting up programs and measuring tool offsets
  • Machine parts to hold tolerances per drawing specifications
  • Knowledge of verifying dimensions using gauges, micrometers, calipers and various measuring devices
  • Familiar with working on VTL’s such as Mazak and Fanuc Controlled Machining Centers
  • Responsible for reporting malfunctions, replacing worn tools and cleaning debris from machine
  • Familiar with operating lifting devices for movement of material and other equipment as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
