2nd Shift CNC Mill High Volume - Manufacturing Engineering Technician. Local manufacturer is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician for 2nd shift. Will work 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday with overtime as needed. Will be responsible for the setup of CNC Mills for high volume production, performing machine and tooling setups, machining the first set of parts for quality inspection, and performing offset adjustments as needed. Will instruct and work with operators to hand-off operations for running production. Will manage several machine cells in the Mill High Volume Department and be responsible for the machining and secondary processes for those cells, as well as maintaining part quality, cell tooling and fixturing, and maintaining/verifying CNC G & M code programming to make any necessary updates or corrections. Will also train new operators and work with experienced operators to maintain quality and production standards. Must have a high school diploma/GED, a minimum of 3 years of CNC Mill setup experience, strong G & M Coding skills, programming experience on Fanuc controls, and able to read and understand blueprints. Temp to hire position starting out at $15.00/hr. - $17.00/hr. Depending on experience.
