1st Shift Accounting/Data Entry ClerkLocation: Benton Harbor, MISchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Temporary Position (May 2024-Oct 2024)Hourly Rate: $16.00+ per hour, depending upon experience Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for 1st Shift Accounting/Data Entry Clerk. This role will primarily focus on data entry tasks related to accounting and orders. If you have strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Input and update data into accounting software and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
  • Invoice Processing: Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize accounting records and files in electronic and physical formats.
  • Verification: Verify accuracy of data entries and resolve discrepancies or errors as needed.
  • Order Entry: Assist in data entry for sale, production, and purchasing.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely data entry and recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative role, preferably in an accounting or production environment.
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and terminology is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
