Job Description
Project Manager
Wood Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a growing Berrien County manufacturer. This is a direct hire position starting out at $75K - $90K depending on experience and qualifications. Company offers a competitive benefit package and paid time off. Position Duties:
- Working with management to schedule and accommodate customer requests
- Managing quotes / projects from start to finish
- Providing weekly updates to customers
- Travel – expectation is to be on the road most weeks making customer visits
- Perform 5-10 on-site customer visits per week based on timing and customer availability
- Perform 20-30 customer calls per week
- Goal is to have 2 new contracts per month
- Will help set up and work 2 trade shows per year
- Will help set up and work job fairs
Position Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Tool and Die shop and/or die cast or foundry experience is preferred
- Must be customer service oriented with a positive attitude and represent the company in a professional, courteous manner
- Must be hard working, goal oriented, task driven, and have strong attention to detail
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and also relay information from customers back to the shop
