Quality Engineer. 1st shift position working 6: 00am - 3: 30pm Monday - Thursday and 6: 00am - 10: 00am on Friday. The Quality Engineer will plan and direct activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Duties will include devising sampling procedures and designing/developing forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting data, establishing a program to evaluate the accuracy of testing, measurement and analytical equipment, compiling and writing training materials, conducting training sessions on quality assurance and reliability activities, developing and implementing procedures for the disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and responsibility, manage, train, audit, and direct ISO activities for the plant, and serve as Management Representative/Chairperson of the Management Review Team. Must have HS Diploma or GED, with an AS or BS Degree and 2-4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to write articles and make effective speeches and presentations to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors, and possess strong math and analytical skills. Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 50lbs. A strong background in quality systems, previous inspection experience, and machining background is desired. Temp to hire position starting out at $17.50/hr - $23.50/hr depending on experience.
