1st Shift Quality InspectorLocation: Eau Claire, MISchedule: Monday to Friday, 5:45 am - 2:15 pm, w/overtime as neededHourly Rate: $16.00+ per hour, depending on experience Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent individual for 1st Shift Quality Inspector. This role involves inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.   • Inspection: Perform detailed inspections of products, materials, and packaging at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defects, measurements, and any necessary corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Communicate any quality issues or non-conformances to the production team and management.
  • Metallurgical Testing: Use measuring tools and equipment to perform quality tests and assessments. Perform Rockwell Hardness Testing. 
  • Compliance: Ensure products meet company and industry standards, specifications, and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
 Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
