Job Description

1st shift Shipping/Warehouse/Lead
Hours 8:30am-5pm M-F   O/T Sat. 7am-Noon
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiency
  • Support ongoing quality improvement process
  • Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies 
  • Assists in the coordination of timely and accurate shipping and receiving
  • Performs data entry to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Ensure product is shipped to the correct location, per the shipping instructions provided using various freight company software
  • Provide the invoicing Clerk with the correct information to invoice the customer
  • Answer shipping department phone
  • Prepare ID labels, bills of lading, address labels
  • Work with production manager to give direction in supervisor's absence
  • Trace shipments when needed
Job Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer orientation
  • Detail orientated
  • Be able to use computer as it relates to shipping and receiving good
  • Good vision 
  • Must be able to make color determination
  • Be able to lift or horizontal carry 50lbs.

Temp to hire position starting at $17.00/hr.
