Job Description

1st Shift Shipping/Receiving

Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday, Friday hours vary, w/ overtime as needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Creates shippers/bills of lading, barcode labels, and related paperwork
  • Arranges and monitors the transportation and movement of goods
  • Contacts and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics companies
  • Uses forklift to move, load, and unload products and/or materials
  • Understands inventory control functions
  • Performs clerical and/or data entry functions
  • Other duties as needed
  • Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
  • Must have steel toe boots
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Must have knowledge and experience in inventory control functions
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Good work history and reliable transportation a must
