Job Description
1st Shift Tool Maker (Full or Part Time)
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Friday with overtime as needed.
Optional Part time with flexible scheduling 24-32 hours per week
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
- Make, repair, and maintain tool, dies, and fixtures
- Fabricate tools utilizing various machining techniques to shape and refine tool segments
- Assemble and integrate manufactured parts into tools and dies, ensuring proper fit and functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to dies, tools, and fixtures
- Analyze and address issues affecting die functionality, such as wear, corrosion, or damage
- Operate tool room equipment and machinery, and perform bench work, fitting, and assembly work within tolerances
- Journeyman Card Toolmaker or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, as well as using precision measurement tools
- Solid understanding of metal properties, heat treatment, and material selection.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment
