Job Description

1st shift Welding Supervisor Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday – Friday, w/ overtime as needed
Job Duties:
  • This is a supervisory role working out on the plant floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Will be responsible for managing, training, and disciplinary functions for welding area team members
  • Assist with setups, change overs, and checks for new parts
  • Operate forklifts as needed to move finished product in the welding area
  • Will oversee both the welding and quality containment areas and give guidance based on production priorities
  • Will assist with parts inspection and documentation
Job Requirements:
  • Must be detail oriented with good time management skills and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must have previous experience with robotic and resistance welding operations
  • Must have previous experience with employee training and supervision
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have experience working with/reading parts measuring tools
  • Must have steel toe boots
  • Good work history and reliable transportation is a must
